Cudi performed two songs expected on his sequel album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager at the Bape store where he worked. First of all I’m a Cudi fan, but I have to say I’m not really sure about Revolution, it sounds somewhat empty to me. It might be that the song isn’t suited to a live performance or sumthin’ but I have to say hearing it doesn’t appeal to any of my emotions unlike last year when he was performing Embrace The Martian live. Btw, Embrace the Martian is a dope song that should have made the prequel. On the other hand, Mr. Rager does sound pretty good tho, certainly very Man on the Moon’esque with it’s dark pictures. I love how it lyrically sounds like it’s supposed to be somewhat uplifting, but rather takes you on this ominous journey through misty, dark, cold woods at night with a sky dimly lit by a grey moon in the distance.
